At Ease training is located on a peaceful 12-acre farm in Goshen.
Training sessions are held in 160′ by 80′ fenced grass training field.



Obedience
Being able to communicate with your dog is a must. Obedience gives you the ability to guide your dog in different situations.
Puppy: Covers socialization, living with a puppy, engagement basics, handling, potty training, crate training, confidence building, leash skills, intro to skills taught in obedience I.
Obedience I: Covers the basics of leash skills, sit, down, heel, place, stay, on leash recall.
Obedience II: Adds distance and distractions to all behaviors in Obedience I. Expands on recall.

Off-Leash Reliability
The dog booking across a field the second the leash comes off is an all too familiar sight. During off-leash training, I will teach you the guidelines of having your dog off leash, how to teach a recall command, and how to maintain a reliable recall.
*Obedience I and II are required to take Off-Leash Reliability.

Intro Scent
Does your dog seem to sniff out that new bag of treats you hid at the back of your cabinet? Dogs have up to 300 million olfactory receptors in their noses which make them great at searching for things solely using their nose. Intro Scent introduces your dog to the game of searching for hidden food. This class is a great way to enrich your dog and introduce them to the game of hunting in a fun casual way.

Intro Barn Hunt

Want to tap into your dogs natural drive and learn how to foster it? In this sport dogs are on a preset course made of hay. The objective is for your dog to find a live rat that is contained within a heavy duty pvc tube. The rats are specially selected to tolerate dogs and there are many protections to make sure no rats are harmed. Barn hunt allows your dog to satisfy natural prey drive instincts in a safe way. Barn hunt is a great sport to not only enrich your dog’s life but learn more about how your dog thinks and interacts with its environment.

Play with Your Dog
Did you know there are five types of play? Playing with your dog is one of the key foundations to building a better relationship and enjoying time with your dog. Learn the different types of play and how to make play enjoyable for both you and your dog. During these sessions you will have access to different types of toys to try and we will work on building rules into the games we play in order to make play as fun as possible.

Urban Agility

Looking for something to spice up your walk and build your dogs confidence? Urban agility is an activity that uses the existing structures around you to enrich your dogs life. Imagine teaching your dog to climb a fallen tree or jump up onto that brick wall you pass on your daily walk. Urban agility builds your dog’s confidence and physical health in addition to helping you expand your imagination to explore the world around you with your dog. At Ease Training has custom built obstacles to simulate heights, uneven surface, unstable terrain, tunnels, and novel textures. Teach your dog how to climb, crawl, scale, jump, and maneuver the world around them.
